Meet Mikayla Alpert, better known as Mika. She is a 20-year-old Visual Communications major studying to become a graphic designer and stylist in Los Angeles, California. She started creating collages in high school and in college had the opportunity to grow her passion for collaging and digital design. In the future, Mika would like to pursue a career that combines all of her passions of fashion, art, and film, and have a job that allows her to travel the world and have new experiences. It is her dream to one day work for a major publication's youtube channel and develops or star in content about the fashion industry. When she is not working on creative projects, Mika loves to go thrifting, have picnics in the park, and have fun spontaneous photoshoots with her friends. Her favorite artists to listen to are TV Girl, Christian Leave, Dominic Fike, Clairo, and The Strokes. Her favorite films are the entire Studio Ghibli filmography, particularly Howl's Moving Castle, The Truman Show, Super 8, Jennifer's Body, and Marie Antoinette. She is excited to be a part of the Unpublished Team and grow as an artist!
