what we’re looking for

Art + Graphic Design

We publish all forms of art. When submitting art and illustrations, please take a clear picture of your artwork. If it is digital artwork, please send it in the appropriate format. We do accept other artwork outside of the theme as well. 

Written pieces

Editorials, short stories, poems, articles, etc should be no more than 2000 words. Topics will correspond with the theme of each month. We do accept other work outside of the theme as well. Topics of interest include film, fashion, music, culture, technology, travel, and anything else that comes to mind. Unpublished is very open-ended and will accept almost anything. 

Photography + Film

Send us your short films and photography. We accept collections of photography as well. 

Miscellaneous

Send us your music, playlists, book recommendations, recipes, and really anything else. Have questions about what you can submit? Email officialunpublished@gmail.com with your questions. 

What makes a pitch different from a submission?

The pitch form is for writers who aren’t staff members, but would like to write for our editorial section. The categories are:
